MGEN Maluda

Major General Maluda retired from the United States Air Force in September 2009 after 34 years of active duty service. At the time of his retirement, General Maluda was Director of Cyberspace Transformation and Strategy, and Chief Information Officer in the Office of the Secretary of the Air Force. This is where he shaped doctrine, strategy, and policy for communications and information activities; and also served as the functional advocate for 30,000 personnel.

General Maluda enlisted in the Air Force in 1973 and received his commission as a distinguished graduate of the ROTC program, at Troy State University, in Alabama in 1978. He also holds a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from Auburn University, a Masters Degree in Systems Management from the University of Southern California, and a Masters Director Certification from the American College of Corporate Directors. His career highlights included serving at three major commands, with unified combatant commands, a defense agency, the White House and the Air Staff. General Maluda serves as a member of the Board of Directors at TELOS, and also serves as an advisor on the Air Force Institute of Technology Distinguished Review Board.
